A few months ago I took the family to Baskin-Robbins for ice cream. They are the place that has 31 flavors. There weren’t many people in the store, so I was asking about the flavors; do they rotate them, why so many, which is the favorite… There apparently is a method to the madness of all the flavors – one for every day of the month. And the favorite flavor beating the other flavors 2-3 to one (according to the teenage ice cream specialist dipping out the good stuff from behind the glass patrician) was Mint Chocolate Chip.

Several in my family love this flavor, mine however is not Mint Chocolate Chip, but instead is Peanut-Butter Chocolate. What’s your flavor? (we love dollar scoop tuesdays by the way!)
we have 31 flavors here – same store, but different flavors!!! never tried peanut butter chocolate. have to give the idea of peanut butter ice cream a little more thought. or maybe just a taste. java almond is my favorite from there (at least i think that’s what it’s called) but very favorite ice cream is moose tracks… yum. and now i want some!!
Mint chocolate chip has my vote. Chocolate chip cookie dough is another favorite in my house. We don’t have 31 flavors close by, but we like gelatto. I want some now too! OOOO, I like Bunny tracks. I miss $1 scoops. Actually, anything with chocolate in it is pretty good. lol…
I love that there are so many flavors! I enjoy watching my kids go back and forth at the counter looking for the “perfect flavor” for whatever mood they are in at the time. (I get a kick out of my son always ordering the pink ice cream – Bubble gum flavor I think!) I am pretty simple though; vanilla, chocolate and my fav the peanut-butter chocolate – you gotta try it! I like moose tracks and cookie dough too, but given a choice….
what is the worst flavor you have ever tried?
i can do without the neon colored ice cream – the bubble gum and the cotton candy, just way too sweet. after you replied i remembered that i have had reeses icecream, which is a peanut butter ice cream – i believe, and quite good. and then i started missing maggie moos and how much i loved their cake batter, especially the chocolate cake batter, yum. might be better than moose tracks.
i don’t have a worst flavor so much as a worst concoction – i have to say i really, really dislike banana splits. and i don’t now why. i like all the ingredients, but put together. yuck.
and, to go on and on, i wanted to tell you i love that your wife is blogging!!
